Right hand batsman making 581runs ave. 12.10 with HS 69. Captained 2nd XI for several seasons.
Went on to serve on the Committee and in particular as Secretary of the Club from 1963-64 until 1971-72, and from 1974-75 until 1998-99, a total of 34 years, making a substantial contribution over that time. He also served several seasons as Assistant Secretary, and as a Vice-President.
Spent many years as a delegate to Cricket Victoria.
