Your club's website
The Club website add-on gives the club its own website in its colours: a home page built from blocks — a photo banner, live scores, news, fixtures, results, a gallery, your socials, sponsors, events and a join button — six website looks so it doesn't look like the next club's, the club's players, awards, coaches, committee, history, fixtures and events pages in the site's own look, and three layout styles. It's built to be found — on Google, Bing and by AI assistants — and it uses the club's best photos by itself, gives every sponsor a page with its own enquiry form, and match reports, event previews and recaps, and round previews and reports go up as news by themselves. It lives at a free your-club.morrie.io address or on the club's own domain.
Home page and look
- Home page blocks you turn on, order and set up, with a live preview
- Your best photos picked for you — sharpest and biggest first, never one of a junior without consent — for the banner, section backgrounds and a gallery, with pin, swap and hide
- Your social accounts as profile cards with Follow buttons, and your latest posts, each linking to the post — no third-party embeds
- Classic, Bold or Minimal, in your colours and fonts, readable on a phone
- Six website looks — Classic, Bold, Editorial, Heritage, Minimal and Night match — each its own header, font pairing, cards, banner, buttons and section lines, so your site doesn't look like the next club's; Match my club picks one from your crest
- Stronger contrast in one tick: darker text aiming for WCAG AAA, heavy shading behind words on photos and thicker keyboard outlines
- Every change kept with who made it and what changed, in plain words, with Undo and Restore — and changes scheduled to go live and come off again, like a registration banner for August
News and pages
- Match reports post themselves as news, and every game's scorecard is on a Results & scorecards page, season by season
- Automatic news before and after events: an event preview days before and a recap with the day's photos, a round preview with each grade's game and team, and the round report the morning after — published straight away or held for you to check, with certain figures only and never a members-only event
- News posts with photos, a gallery, video, categories, pinning and scheduling, plus an RSS feed
- Your players, awards and honours, coaches, committee, life members, history and records, fixtures and ladder, events, fundraising and memberships on the site, from what's already in Morrie — juniors shown only as consent allows
- A page for every team: captain and coaches, squad, next game, recent results, ladder position and season leaders
- PlayHQ registrations on the Join page, open or closed by their own dates with a Register button; your sponsorship packages with Enquire; a Documents page of the constitution, policies and AGM papers you mark public; and a Shop button
- Pages of your own — ground hire, a code of conduct, your women's program — with a banner photo, a button and a place in the menu, or typed as a prompt for Morrie AI to draft in your club's voice from what Morrie knows, leaving [add the fee] wherever it doesn't
- Site search across players, results, news, events, pages and sponsors — juniors without consent never found by name
Match days
- Live scores, fixtures, results, sponsors and events straight from Morrie
- The club championship ladder under Results, from your championship card, and a Champion player leaderboard by fantasy points, filterable by grade, when you turn it on
- On match days the home page takes over by itself: a Live now panel with every game's live score, the featured game's stream and today's grounds, then Today's results after stumps
- A scoreboard strip across the top of the website's pages on match days: every grade's live score or result, each linking to its match centre, and gone again at midnight
- Game-weekend weather on the home page from two days out: each day's top and bottom, rain, wind and 10am to 6pm hour by hour at the ground you're playing at, and an animated rain radar on game day when rain is about
- A visitors' guide for every home ground — parking, getting in, change rooms, the scorers' box, canteen and accessibility, with directions — and this weekend's games there
- Is play on? One tap on Match day on a wet morning — Play on, Delayed, Abandoned or Called off, for one ground or every game — and the website, the scoreboard strip and each match centre say so until midnight, with one email to followers after a preview
- A visiting team's page for every home game — the ground and map, parking, change rooms, teas, the bar, who to contact and whether play is on — emailed to the opposition club the Thursday before
- A Watch page of this weekend's streamed games with Watch buttons that go live with the stream, and the replays, from your Streams settings
Sponsors and analytics
- A Sponsors page and a page for every sponsor — how long they've backed the club, what they do, their member offers, phone, address and map, opening hours, socials and their own enquiry form; every logo on the site opens it, and leads reach the sponsor once they agree, or you to pass on
- Sponsors seen on every page: an Our partners column beside events, results, fixtures and the match centre — the grade's sponsor, your major partner, each tier and a member offer, each sponsor once — a Proudly supported by band under the banner, an Our sponsors band, by tier, at the foot of Season, Events, Squad, Teams, History and the members' area, a Members save at our partners strip and live scores presented by a sponsor
- Website analytics with no setup and no cookie banner: visitors, top pages, where they came from (including AI assistants like ChatGPT), and every sponsor's logo views, clicks and enquiries — "Your logo was seen 4,210 times on our website this season" in their report and renewal proposal
- Add your own Google Analytics with one box: it loads only after a visitor accepts the site's cookie notice, and sends sponsor clicks and enquiries as events
Members, shop and hire
- A members' area on your own domain: membership card, availability, stats, team sheets, training plans, members' documents, club notices, a weekly player and past player Spotlight and choosing your own squad photo — and opposition scouting for this season's players only (their record against us, form, players to watch and the squad's own tags on them), closed the moment someone leaves the squad
- A Stay in touch sign-up on the home page and footer that adds people to Contacts with their consent and to your Mailchimp audience, tagged by what they're interested in
- Ground and clubroom hire: what you hire out with photos and prices if you want them, and an enquiry form whose enquiries come to you and become ground bookings in a tap
- Sell on your own website: club gear in sizes with stock that can't be oversold, food pre-orders and raffle tickets with your permit number and tickets left, a cart and card checkout straight into the club's own Stripe account, receipts, and an orders list to mark collected, download or refund
Your address and being found
- Move from your old website in one go: Morrie reads it, sorts each page into history, life members, ground directions or a new page for you to tick, and keeps the old links working once your domain points at Morrie
- Found on Google and by AI assistants: an SEO health checklist with one-tap fixes, page titles and descriptions (with Morrie AI suggestions), an FAQ, Search Console and Bing in two pastes, structured data, share pictures, a sitemap, llms.txt and instant IndexNow pings
- Its own address: free at your-club.morrie.io, or your club's own domain — the exact DNS records with step-by-step help for GoDaddy, Crazy Domains, VentraIP, Namecheap, Cloudflare, Squarespace and Vercel (Morrie spots where the domain's DNS and current site are and opens the right steps), checked until it's live, free https, and change it any time without breaking a link
