Terms of Service
Last updated 03/11/2026
These terms govern your use of Morrie, operated by Morrie Sport Pty Ltd (ACN 702 760 192) ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using a club site hosted under morrie.io, you agree to these terms. If you're creating an account on behalf of a club, you're confirming you have the club's authority to do so.
What the service is
Morrie lets a cricket club set up its fixtures, squad, sponsors and branding once, and generate match-day and results graphics, milestone and player-of-the-round cards, and AI-drafted match reports and connections to other services, from that data. What's included depends on the club's plan.
Accounts
- You need an account, with a real email address, to use the service.
- You're responsible for keeping your password and any account you administer secure — turn on two-factor authentication under My account if you'd like an extra layer.
- Tell us straight away if you think your account has been accessed without permission.
- You must be old enough to lawfully enter into these terms in your jurisdiction to create an account. Junior players themselves are not expected to have accounts — a club's adult admins manage junior squad data on the club's behalf.
Club content
A club's admins and members are responsible for the content they upload — player names and photos, scorecards, sponsor details, fixtures, and anything else entered into the product. You confirm that you have the right to upload it (including, where relevant, consent from a player or their parent/guardian for their name, photo or figures to be used) and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights or break the law. We can remove content, or suspend an account, that we reasonably believe breaches this.
The club promises (warrants) that it has the consents and rights needed for everything it uploads or posts through Morrie: photos and the consent of the people in them (a parent's or guardian's for anyone under 18), names, logos, sponsors' material, and any music, video or other work used in its posts or clips. If it doesn't, that's the club's responsibility, not ours.
You keep ownership of the content your club uploads. You grant us a licence to store, process and display it as needed to provide the service to your club — including sending scorecard images to our AI provider to read figures and draft reports, where that feature is used.
AI-generated content and automatic posts
Match reports, captions, and figures read off scorecards are drafted or extracted automatically using AI and are provided as a starting point, not a guarantee of accuracy. Review AI-generated reports and auto-detected figures before sharing or relying on them — mistakes in a scanned scorecard (an unclear photo, an ambiguous name) can produce a wrong result, and it's the uploading club's responsibility to check before publishing.
Some posts can go out automatically when a club turns that on (for example a result card after a game). The club chooses what's automatic, should review those settings and what Morrie drafts, and is responsible for everything it publishes, whether a person wrote it, AI drafted it or it was posted automatically. We don't check posts before they go out.
Payment and subscriptions
Some features are available on paid plans, billed through Stripe. Fees, billing periods and cancellation terms are shown at the time a club subscribes. Unless stated otherwise, fees aren't refundable for a partial billing period. We can change our pricing with reasonable notice to a club's admin.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service to upload content you don't have the right to use, or that's unlawful, defamatory, or harassing.
- Try to access another club's data without permission, or interfere with the service's normal operation.
- Use the service to send unsolicited bulk communications.
- Reverse-engineer or resell the service without our written permission.
Contacting businesses
- When you use Morrie to approach a business that isn't already connected to your club, you must comply with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) and any other law that applies. Each message must identify your club, include a way to contact you, and include a working unsubscribe.
- To protect local businesses, Morrie limits how many clubs can approach the same business, how often, and how many follow-ups are sent. Morrie may delay or block a message that would exceed these limits. These limits apply however a message is prepared, including messages drafted with an AI assistant connected to Morrie.
- A business can ask not to be contacted through Morrie by any club. Morrie will honour that request across every club. You must not use details obtained through Morrie to contact that business another way.
- Don't use Morrie to send bulk or automated messages to businesses or people who haven't agreed to hear from you. A person must review and send each first approach to a business.
- Morrie may pause your club's outreach, or suspend access, if messages bounce or draw complaints at unusual rates, or if these rules are broken.
Availability
We aim to keep the service available, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free or available at any particular time, and we may need to take it down for maintenance or updates from time to time. There's no uptime guarantee or service level, and no service credits or refunds for downtime, except where the law requires them.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law, or any other law, that can't lawfully be excluded. Where the law lets us limit our liability for failing to meet a consumer guarantee, our liability is limited to supplying the service again, or paying the cost of having it supplied again.
Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows:
- we provide the service "as is", and don't promise any particular result from using it (such as more sponsors, members, money or engagement);
- we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, sponsorship, data or opportunity, however it arises, including from AI-generated content that turns out to be inaccurate or from anything a club publishes;
- our total liability to a club for all claims about the service is limited to the fees that club paid us in the 12 months before the event the claim is about.
Ending your account
You can stop using the service, and ask us to delete your account or club's data, at any time by contacting privacy@morrie.io. We can suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or a paid subscription that goes unpaid, with reasonable notice where practical.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the most recent change, and every version is kept on record.
