"We already use PlayHQ."
Cricket Buddy isn't a PlayHQ replacement — it connects to PlayHQ so fixtures and results flow straight in, then turns that data into everything PlayHQ doesn't do: match-day social graphics, sponsor proposals, membership sales, and season reporting. Each player's own squad entry can even link straight through to their PlayHQ stats page, so the public 'meet the team' grid on the club's own website sends visitors to PlayHQ for the numbers instead of trying to duplicate them.
"Our committee has no design skills."
Nobody needs any. Every card — before-match, results, ladder, milestones — is generated from data the club already has (a fixture, a scorecard, the squad list), not built from a blank canvas. If someone can fill in a form, they can publish a professional graphic.
"Is our data safe?"
Encrypted in transit and at rest, hosted on Supabase (the same managed platform a large number of production SaaS products run on). Row Level Security is enforced at the database level, not just hidden in the UI — another club's account is physically incapable of returning your rows. Card payment details never touch our servers at all; they go straight to Stripe. Data stays exactly as it is if a subscription lapses — nothing is deleted automatically.
"Isn't this expensive for a volunteer-run club?"
